Katja Benrath is a German director and actress, born in Erbach, Hessen. She studied Singing and Acting in Vienna, where she also discovered her passion for filmmaking. During her master’s studies at the Hamburg Media School, she directed several short films, including Puppenspiel (2009), Im Himmel kotzt man nicht (2013), and Life Is Not a Kindergarten (2020).
