About the film
It is the year 1946. Under strict orders from their father, Adam forces his younger brother Ali to watch their grandfather’s corpse washed before burial. Their cousin Iman, their constant playmate, is excluded from the ritual because she is a girl. The sight deeply affects Adam: he declares he does not want to grow up, and from that moment, he stops aging.
