About the Film
Three intertwining stories unfold in the mountains of Lebanon, exploring memory, loss, and love. In a remote village, the harvest is over, yet an abnormal drought threatens the land and the people’s way of life. The community prepares for an annual play, held this year under the title “Departures”.

Karim Kassem is a Lebanese director and cinematographer awarded in various film festivals. Over the past five years, he has directed Only The Winds (2020), Octopus (2021), Thiiird (2023), and Moondove (2024). His films have earned acclaim at international festivals. He is now working to develop his fifth feature.
