A Palestinian actress and director born in the city of Nazareth, where she began her film career. Omari is an actress who has had a successful career at the Arab and international levels.

Omari made her early film appearances in Curfew (1994) with Na‘ila Zayaad, the Mohammad Bakri drama Haifa (1996), and Private (2005) with Mohammad Bakri. She later concentrated her career in film, appearing in Attente (2006), the foreign film The Olive Harvest (2007) with Maazen Saade, and Laila’s Birthday (2009). She also appeared in The Other Son (2012). More recently, Omari acted in the drama Eyes of a Thief (2014) with Khaled Abol Naga.
