About the Film
In Annab, Algeria, farmers who endured decades of terrorism and colonial fear hold steadfast to their land. When a devastating wildfire destroys everything, they confront a new tragedy. Filmed in a poetic cinéma vérité style—without interviews or narration—the film captures resilience through spontaneous dialogue and contemplative still frames.
