About the Film
A woman whose life was torn apart by war is forced into prostitution. One night, she meets a man seeking pleasure, and their brief encounter rekindles fragments of her lost humanity. In that fleeting connection, they both face the ache of memory before returning to their harsh, broken city.

Rasha Shahin is a Syrian filmmaker based in Egypt. A graduate of the High Cinema Institute in Cairo, she has worked on both fiction and documentary films. Her debut short A Passing Day was developed in a Paris writing workshop and produced by Red Star Films in collaboration with designer Onsi Abu Seif.
