In a public swimming pool in Cairo, Yomna, a first-time director, embarks on a personal journey with her emotionally reserved father. Through the process of filmmaking, she seeks to reconnect with him while reflecting on existence, work, fatherhood, and the passage of time.

Yomna Khattab is a Cairo-based filmmaker with a degree in economics from the Sorbonne University. Her feature script Rokaya won the Sawiris Cultural Award (2018), and her short Let Us Play Yesterday received support from the Robert Bosch Development Fund and premiered at the El Gouna Film Festival. Her work explores gender, politics, and contemporary family life.
